T.J. Dillashaw has reclaimed his UFC Bantamweight Championship, besting the previously undefeated Cody Garbrandt with a second-round knockout in the penultimate fight on UFC 217: Bisping vs. St-Pierre.
UFC 217: T.J. Dillashaw knocks out Cody Garbrandt in 2nd round

Dillashaw won the title over Renen Barao in 2014, and defended it against Joe Soto and then Barao again. That’s when he lost to Dominick Cruz after that, before going on to beat Raphael Assuncao, John Lineker and now Garbrandt.
Garbrandt was 11-0 going into Saturday’s title bout, and now he’s suffered his first career defeat. His recent history includes wins over Cruz, Takeya Mizugaki and Thomas Almeida, so he’s still in a good spot. He should be firmly back in the title picture sooner rather than later.
Dillashaw is now 15-3 as a professional, with 11 wins in the UFC.
