Georges St-Pierre fought in his first match since 2013, and he was successful in besting Michael Bisping for the UFC Middlweight Championship at UFC 217: Bisping vs. St-Pierre, thanks to a third-round submission.
UFC 217: Georges St-Pierre beats Michael Bisping to win middleweight title after 4-year layoff

St-Pierre retired from the sport in 2013, relinquishing the UFC Welterweight Championship that he had defended nine consecutive times after a narrow victory over Johny Hendricks. His last loss was back in 2007, when Matt Serra knocked him out. He’s got revenge on Serra and also beat everybody of note in the division.
He’s now 26-2 as a professional and it will be interesting to see where things go from here.
Bisping is a long-time veteran of the sport, just like St-Pierre, and they were fighting at the same time for a long time, but at different weight classes. Bisping has really come into his own recently, winning the title from Luke Rockhold and defending it against Dan Henderson.
Now, at 30-8 with an already successful broadcasting career on the side, it will be interesting to see where he goes.
