UFC 219: Start time, TV schedule for Cyborg vs. Holm

The UFC closes out the year with a big card, featuring a title bout between Cris Cyborg and Holly Holm.

UFC 219: Cyborg vs. Holm is the final card of the year for the promotion, and it’s a big one. Women’s Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg will defend her title against Holly Holm, the woman who started the fall of Ronda Rousey, in the main event.

The card will begin with UFC Fight Pass prelims at 7:30 p.m. ET, will continue with more prelims on Fox Sports 1 at 8 p.m. and will conclude with the pay-per-view main card beginning at 10 p.m. Live streaming can be had via Fight Pass, the UFC YouTube channel, UFC.TV and more.

Holm was the first woman to beat Rousey, who at the time was hyping up a potential future bout with Cyborg. That clash was supposed to be the big one, but Cyborg took her time joining with the UFC, while Rousey suffered a string of losses. Holm, too, suffered a string of losses, but she recovered with a knockout victory over Bethe Correia in her last outing.

Maybe the fight isn’t as excited as the mythical Cyborg vs. Rousey would have been, but these are still two of the very best fighters on the planet and it should be a great bout.

The co-main event will see the long-anticipated return of Khabib Nurmagomedov in what should be a title eliminator against Edson Barboza. Nurmagomedov is on a tear, with a 24-0 record that includes a submission victory over Michael Johnson at UFC 205 and a unanimous decision win over Rafael dos Anjos.

Barboza is also doing well, with three consecutive wins, including a flying knee knockout of Beneil Dariush in his last outing.

Former interim Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit will open up the main card with a bout against Neil Magny. Another former champion, Carla Esparza, will be in action on the main card against Cynthia Calvillo in the women’s strawweight division.

Below, you can find all the streaming and viewing information you need as well as the full official UFC 219 fight card.
