UFC 209: Start time, live TV schedule for Woodley vs. Thompson 2

UFC 209: Woodley vs. Thompson 2 is here and this is all you need to know about the action-packed card.

UFC 209: Woodley vs. Thompson 2 is set for Saturday from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The pay-per-view card features a welterweight championship bout between Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson.

Saturday’s pay-per-view main card gets underway at 10 p.m. ET, though the undercard begins several hours prior. The preliminary card gets started at 6:30 p.m. on UFC Fight Pass and will continue on Fox Sports 1 at 8 p.m. That will run for two hours before the pay-per-view card picks up.

As usual, UFC Fight Pass, UFC.TV, the UFC YouTube channel and various connected smart devices with UFC apps are places where you can watch and purchase Saturday’s action-packed card.

Woodley and Thompson faced each other at UFC 205 and fought to a majority draw. A rematch was quickly announced. The fight lost a little bit of hype when it was announced that Georges St-Pierre would be returning at middleweight and not welterweight, as many had suggested St-Pierre could challenge the winner of this fight for his big return to the octagon.

But Woodley and Thompson combined for an excellent fight the first time around, and smart money is on a repeat performance. Thompson still has just one professional blemish on his record, owning seven consecutive wins prior to his draw. Woodley was on a three-game winning streak, including the knockout win over Robbie Lawler that earned him the title.

The main card will also feature Mark Hunt taking on Alistair Overeem to kick it off, and at middleweight, Rashad Evans will take on Dan Kelly.

Below is all you need to know to watch Saturday’s event as well as a full official fight card for the entire thing.
