UFC Fight Night 109 live stream: How to watch Gustafsson vs. Teixeira online

Sweden’s Alexander Gustafsson will headline a UFC event in his home country for UFC Fight Night 109: Gustafsson vs. Teixeira. His opponent will be fellow light heavyweight contender Glover Teixeira as both try and make their way toward a shot at Daniel Cormier’s title.

Sunday’s event will begin bright and early in the United States, at 10 a.m. ET with the UFC Fight Pass prelims, which can be streamed online. The card isn’t on pay-per-view, with the remainder of the prelims and the main card airing on Fox Sports 1. The main card will start at approximately 1 p.m.

Online streaming should be available via UFC.TV, the UFC YouTube channel and of course, UFC Fight Pass.

Gustafsson has fought for the title twice, and in both fights he lost a decision but arguably did enough to win. That was against Jon Jones in 2013 and Cormier in 2015. The Cormier fight came after a TKO loss to Anthony Johnson, but Gustafsson stepped in as a replacement when Johnson couldn’t go.

Since the split decision loss to Cormier, Gustafsson has bested Jan Blachowicz in September 2016 and now faces Teixeira. In August 2016, Teixeira also suffered a knockout loss to Johnson, being dropped in just 13 seconds flat. He has since won another fight; however, beating Jared Cannonier via unanimous decision at UFC 208 in February.

Cormier is expected to face Jones for the title at UFC 214. The winner of Sunday’s fight may not necessarily be next in line, but the loser will certainly be well out of the title picture.

The card features several international fighters, as well. Volkan Oezdemir and Misha Cirkunov will compete in the co-main event, while fan-favorite Ben Saunders will take on Peter Sobotta in welterweight competition.
