UFC 213 fight card: Full fight list for Nunes vs. Shevchenko 2

The UFC has a full slate of fights for UFC 213: Nunes vs. Shevchenko 2 on Saturday.

Update: Amanda Nunes had to drop out of the fight due to an illness, and the event will proceed with Yoel Romero vs. Robert Whittaker for the interim middleweight title as the main event.

UFC 213: Nunes vs. Shevchenko 2 is set for Saturday live on pay-per-view in the United States. Amanda Nunes will defend her women’s bantamweight championship against Valentina Shevchenko, a woman she beat prior to winning the title.

Saturday’s main card get underway at 10 p.m. ET. The prelims will go from UFC Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m. to FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. Online streaming will be available at UFC Fight Pass, UFC.TV and the UFC YouTube channel.

It’s a packed night of fights, too. The main event should be a good one, and Nunes has been great in recent fights, owning wins over Meisha Tate and Ronda Rousey. But the co-main event between middleweights Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker may be even better.

Romero is the favorite to win and earn the interim UFC middleweight title. Champion Michael Bisping is dealing with injuries so the UFC is crowning an interim champion. Romero’s last fight was a knockout victory over Chris Weidman at UFC 205, and he also has wins over Ronaldo Souza and Lyoto Machida.

The main card also features the third meeting between heavyweights Fabricio Werdum and Alistair Overeem. They always combine for an exciting fight, so that should be a good one. Jim Miller will take on Anthony Pettis to open up the main card.

The featured fight on the preliminary card will see heavyweights Travis Browne and Oleksiy Oliynyk face off.

Below is the full fight card for Saturday as well as all you need to know to watch the action.
