Best Of The Rest Cup: With One Week To Go, Joey Logano Holds Slim Lead Over Mark Martin
SB Nation’s competition to see which non-Chase driver accumulates the most points in the final 10 races has come down to current leader Joey Logano, Mark Martin (34 points behind) and Jamie McMurray (66 points behind).
Can Logano hold on and win the coveted red plastic cup trophy and a bottle of Coke? The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has finished 7th-6th-5th-4th-3rd (in that order) over the last five races, so there’s a strong possibility he could win it.
But don’t count out the veteran Martin – who has also run well of late – or McMurray, the driver who seems to step up in the biggest moments.
