Of course, Denny Hamlin’s fourth-to-first on one lap at Martinsville will be remembered for a long time. Kevin Harvick barely beating Jamie McMurray to the finish line at Talladega was memorable, too.
Was the best finish McMurray’s Daytona 500 victory, when he held off a charging Dale Earnhardt Jr.?
Maybe it was Kyle Busch’s incredible sideways pass in late October’s Talladega truck race.
Or perhaps the best finish of all was the ending to NASCAR’s Chase for the Sprint Cup, in which three drivers battled over the final weeks and took their fight all the way to Homestead.
