Is anyone really surprised at what happened at Dover on Sunday?

If you are, you probably haven’t been following NASCAR for very long.

Four-time defending champion Jimmie Johnson won a snoozer of a race, picking up his sixth victory of the season and sixth career win at the “Monster Mile.”

Johnson now moves to within 35 points of leader Denny Hamlin heading into Kansas.

AJ Allmendinger dominated the early portion of the race, but Johnson still ended up leading the most laps (191 to Allmendinger’s 143).
