After suspending Kyle Busch for intentionally wrecking Ron Hornaday Jr. in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event, NASCAR announced Monday it has fined Busch $50,000 and placed him on probation for the remainder of the season.

NASCAR also warned if Busch has another incident before the end of the year, an indefinite suspension from NASCAR will be the penalty.
NASCAR added, “if during the remaining NASCAR events in 2011 there is another action by the competitor that is deemed by NASCAR officials as detrimental to stock car racing or to NASCAR, or is disruptive to the orderly conduct of an event, the competitor will be suspended indefinitely from NASCAR.”
Both Joe Gibbs Racing and sponsor M&M’s have expressed their disappointment with Busch’s actions.
Busch will be back in the car for this weekend’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Phoenix International Raceway after watching Michael McDowell pilot the No. 18 Toyota to a 33rd-place finish Sunday in Texas.
