Bud Shootout 2011: Live Race Chat From Daytona International Speedway

It’s time for the 2011 Bud Shootout – finally!

And of course, that means it’s time for our first live race chat of the year. For the newbies out there, here’s how it works:

  • In the comments section below, fans write to one another and talk about the race as it unfolds with SB Nation's Jeff Gluck.
  • Make sure you have the "auto-refresh" box checked so the comments will refresh automatically on your screen.
  • Try not to antagonize the other chatters...this is a chat for everyone and fans of every driver. Don't be a hater!

Who will win tonight? We’re not entirely sure. Who do you think? The favorites are Kevin Harvick (the two-time defending champ), Tony Stewart (the best Daytona racer) and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (one of the all-time restrictor-plate greats).

But given that this is Daytona, it’s likely someone will pop up and surprise us – especially because of the new two-car drafts on the repaved surface.

Sit back and watch along with the rest of us!
