NASCAR Pocono Starting Lineup: Kurt Busch Wins Second Straight Pole

In the opening moments of Friday’s final Sprint Cup Series practice at Pocono Raceway, Kurt Busch spun and hit the wall. The damage forced the Penske Racing team to pull out the back up car, but that did not matter Saturday during qualifying.

Posting a lap of 52.454 seconds at 171.579 mph, Busch earned his second consecutive pole. The pole run also gave Penske Racing their third consecutive pole, with Brad Keselowski taking the top spot at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
