NASCAR Most Popular Driver Award Top 10 Announced For 2011

The 2011 NASCAR/NMPA Wheaties Fuel Most Popular Driver Award has been narrowed down to 10 names, and now the award’s version of a Chase begins.

With the points reset to zero, it’s anyone’s game – although heavy favorite Dale Earnhardt Jr. has won the award for the past eight years. Fans can visit the voting site to cast a ballot for their favorite driver.

The 10 finalists are, in alphabetical order:

• Kyle Busch

• Dale Earnhardt Jr.

• Carl Edwards

• Jeff Gordon

• Kevin Harvick

• Jimmie Johnson

• Kasey Kahne

• Matt Kenseth

• Bobby Labonte

• Tony Stewart

If you’re keeping track, the top 10 for this year’s Most Popular Driver voting is identical to last year’s top 10.
