Marcos Ambrose has new colors for NASCAR races at Kansas, Martinsville, Phoenix and Homestead

Marcos Ambrose is getting a new look starting this weekend.

Black & Decker, a division of Ambrose’s sponsor Stanley Tools, will be on the No. 9 Richard Petty Motorsports car for four of the final five races of the NASCAR season.

Ambrose will have paint schemes featuring two new tools: The Gyro screwdriver and Matrix Quick Connect System.

The team said the Gyro is the world’s first motion-activated screwdriver that controls variable speed and direction, while the Matrix is an “innovative modular tool system built around two different power units and interchangeable attachments to drill, cut, sand and more.”

“As a race team we use tools every weekend and know how important it is that the tools we use are reliable and efficient,” Ambrose said in a statement. “Black & Decker is known for their high quality products, so it only makes sense that we showcase some of their new and innovative tools on our car over the next few weeks.”
