Kasey Kahne has long been associated with the Great Clips car in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Next year, the salon brand will join the Hendrick Motorsports driver for multiple races in Sprint Cup.

Great Clips announced it will sponsor Kahne’s No. 5 car for three races in 2013 – Bristol (March), Indianapolis (July) and New Hampshire (September) – following its Cup debut at Texas, where the company was Kahne’s co-primary sponsor.

Kahne’s relationship with Great Clips dates back nearly 10 years.

”They”ve been with me for most of my career, supporting me as a driver and a team owner,” Kahne said. “It”s always great to see a partner step up their program, and I”m looking forward to bringing them their first win in the Sprint Cup Series.””

Great Clips, which also sponsors a Nationwide Series car at Turner Motorsports, will continue in that role with Kahne running select Nationwide races for the team.
