VIDEO: Dale Earnhardt Jr., Brad Keselowski Race To Port-O-Potty At Daytona 500

During Monday night’s two-hour red flag to clean up debris from the now-infamous jet dryer explosion at the Daytona 500, FOX showed the drivers hanging out on the backstretch and chatting with one another.

The TV cameras even showed Brad Keselowski tweeting and other drivers standing around, looking at his phone.

What didn’t you see? A footrace between Keselowski and Dale Earnhardt Jr. to determine who could reach the portable toilet first.

Fortunately for all of us, a fan captured the excitement on video at posted it to YouTube:

Honestly, it looked like a pretty good race. Neither driver had particularly good form, but it appeared Earnhardt Jr.‘s late shove when Keselowski got to the Port-O-Potty’s door earned him the win.

And as you can hear by the fans’ reaction, any race involving Earnhardt Jr. has the potential to be a popular one.

While the video may be funny, let’s just hope there’s no reason to see this during next year’s Daytona 500.
