VIDEO: Austin Dillon Featured In New ESPN NASCAR Commercial

ESPN will debut a new NASCAR Nationwide Series commercial next week as part of its “Names Are Made Here” campaign, and this one is pretty sweet.

It features Nationwide rookie Austin Dillon, the grandson of Richard Childress and the only driver currently carrying on the tradition of the No. 3 car in one of NASCAR’s top series.

Check out the video:

If you’re wondering, Dillon and Childress have said in the past that while they do plan to bring the No. 3 car to the Sprint Cup Series, it likely won’t feature the same stylized ‘3’ made famous by Dale Earnhardt.

And for what it’s worth, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has given his blessing for Dillon to run the No. 3 car.

“When you put the colors and the style with it, it’s a little iconic to the sport,” Earnhardt Jr. said in November. “But Austin is a good kid, he seems to have a great appreciation for what’s happening to him and what’s going on around him. I would be happy if he wanted to keep doing that.”
