Bump Day is underway at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Oriol Servia has posted the fastest time during Sunday morning’s practice. The Spaniard posted a one-lap speed of 223.752 mph, better than the averages of 10 qualifiers on Saturday. Sebastien Bourdais posted the second fastest Bump Day speed so far at 223.479 mph, while Wade Cunningham was third at 222.794 mph.

Servia was forced to come back on the second day of time trials after crashing Saturday during a warm-up lap. His car spun out on a turn, narrowly missing the outside wall but coming down the track and making contact on the inside wall on the straightaway. Undeterred, he returned less than 24 hours later to post a blazing speed during Bump Day practice. Video of Servia’s crash during Saturday qualifying:

Servia followed up on his impressive morning practice run with an afternoon qualifying run. He qualified 26th with a speed of 222.393 mph.
