The weather forecast for this afternoon’s Sprint Cup Series LENOX Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has drastically improved. This forecast has been complicated since day one, and ninety percent of the time a forecast comes down to timing and that’s exactly what happened to this one.
NASCAR At Loudon 2012 Race Day Weather Forecast:Threat Of Rain Decreases
Most of the week it appeared that a low pressure system moving in from the west would bring showers and storms into eastern New Hampshire by the early afternoon. This system has slowed and it now appears the rain won’t arrive until later this evening. That is definitely good new for NASCAR and fans.
The weather forecast for this afternoon in Loudon, New Hampshire is partly sunny, humid and hot as highs get into the upper 90s. There is just a small chance of an isolated storm or shower later this afternoon but it looks very good for getting this race in today.
