Jeff Gordon portrays a motor oil salesman on CBS TV special Wednesday night

John Gurzinski

NASCAR is set to get some positive publicity on Wednesday night as Jeff Gordon stars in a segment of the CBS network special, I Get That A Lot.

The four-time Sprint Cup Series champion will impersonate a motor oil salesman in a candid-camera style TV show as customers try to decide whether or not the employee, named Jeffrey, is Gordon or just another look-a-like.

Other celebrities set to appear include The Amazing Race’s Phil Koegan as a sporting goods store associate, former Olympian Bruce Jenner as a high-end boutique shoe salesman, actress Jane Seymore as an inept home goods store greeter and actor Cheech Marin appropriately portraying a party supplies store clerk.

The show also features one of the final television appearances of actor Larry Hagman who was most famous for portraying Ewing Oil patriarch JR Ewing on the television show Dallas. Hagman is also set to star in season two of the Dallas sequel television series.

A preview of Gordon’s appearance can be watched below. The show airs at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
