NASCAR Martinsville 2013: Start time, TV schedule for Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500

Sunday’s race at Martinsville could prove to be pivotal in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Fans will have multiple options for following the action live.

Now atop the Chase for the Sprint Cup standings, Jimmie Johnson will have an opportunity to increase his lead with Sunday’s race from Martinsville. Coming off back-to-back wins at the track, Johnson will start on the front row, attempting to win his ninth career race at Martinsville. Viewers will have a few options to follow along, including television and online coverage.

ESPN will handle the television broadcast with live race coverage set to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET, roughly 15 minutes before green flag. The pre-race show will begin at 1 p.m. Allen Bestwick, Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree will be in the booth for the race. Fox Sports will have an extended pre-race show beginning at 10 a.m. on FoxSports1 before continuing at 11 a.m. on FoxSports2. Those unable to watch the race live can was the re-airing at 1 a.m. on Monday on ESPN2.

Viewers will also be able to follow all of the action online, with the right subscriptions. The ESPN pre-race show and live race coverage will be available for those with access to WatchESPN. Enhanced online coverage with multiple race views, driver and pit cams will be provided with a subscription to NASCAR’s Race Buddy service. Fans can also follow the race live with NASCAR’s live leaderboard.

In addition to television and online coverage, Motor Racing Network will provide live radio coverage. The coverage will begin at 12:30 p.m. on SiriuxXM channel 90. Motor Racing Network’s broadcast can also be streamed live online. Here is a complete look at all of the coverage options.
