Matt Kenseth and Jimmie Johnson will both attempt to put some distance between themselves and their fellow Chase for the Sprint Cup challengers during Sunday’s AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Johnson, tied with Kenseth atop the Sprint Cup Standings, will start in the third spot, while Kenseth will trail lineup sixth.

Fans will have multiple options for following the eighth race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup live.


ESPN will carry the event starting at 3 p.m. ET. Allen Bestwick, Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree will be in the booth, joined by pit reporters Dave Burns, Jamie Little, Dr. Jerry Punch and Vince Welch. The pre-race show will begin at 2 p.m., with Nicole Briscoe, Brad Daugherty, Rusty Wallace and Ray Evernham leading the coverage.
Fox Sports 1 will have an extended pre-race show that starts at 10 a.m. ET, featuring John Roberts, Larry McReynolds, Kyle Petty and Kenny Wallace.
Viewers can also follow the event online. The ESPN pre-race show and live race coverage will be available for those with subscriptions to WatchESPN. Enhanced online coverage with multiple race views, driver and pit cams will be provided with access to NASCAR’s Race Buddy service.
The Performance Racing Network will provide live radio coverage. The race can be heard on SiriusXM Radio channel 90, and can also be streamed live online.
