Austin Dillon earned the pole position for the 2013 History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway with a top speed of 183.949 mph. Dillon continued a run of strong qualifying sessions during the 2013 Nationwide Series campaign. He’s earned an average starting position of 4.8 and hasn’t finished lower than 11th in qualifying, according to NASCAR.com.

Austin Dillon heads the starting lineup for the History 300, with frequent Nationwide Series circuit winner Kyle Busch accompanying him on the front row.

Kyle Busch, who has already won five times on the Nationwide circuit this season, will start second, followed by Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Brian Vickers.
Regan Smith, who is the NNS points leader, finished 10th in qualifying.
