NASCAR makes its first visit of the season to Michigan International Speedway this weekend for Sunday’s Quicken Loans 400. Pre-race television coverage begins at noon ET Sunday on TNT, with the green flag scheduled to drop at 1:16 p.m.

Carl Edwards won the pole in Friday’s qualifying after turning in a lap at 202.452 mph. Sunday will be Edwards’ second pole position of the season, and the first won in qualifying. He enters Sunday’s race second in the Sprint Cup standings.
Edwards will be joined on the front row by Kurt Busch, who put up a 201.879 mph qualifying lap Friday. Kasey Kahne and Paul Menard are on the second row, with Aric Almirola and Joey Logano in row three. Last year’s champ, Dale Earnhardt Jr., starts in 12th position. Sprint Cup points leader Jimmie Johnson starts 17th.
