Roughly halfway through qualifying for Tuesday night’s Howie Lettow Memorial 150 at the Milwaukee Mile and a series of thunderstorms has taken over as the top story of the day. Kyle Busch sits on the provisional pole through 30 qualifiers but over 30 cars are still left to qualify, including NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Matt Kenseth and David Ragan.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kyle Busch currently leads qualifying for the ARCA Midwest Tour race but time trials have been delayed by rain.

Due to the massive amount of entries that typically enters this race, the Memorial does have a specialized qualifying procedure and it goes as follows:
Here is how the Howie Lettow Memorial 150 Starting Field will be determined:
- The top 26 in time will be locked in to the main event. All remaining cars will run a 25 Lap B Main event with six transfer positions.
- Eight provisional positions will be available and are listed below.
- Positions 33 Highest Touring Star or ARCAMT Points
- Positions 34 Highest Touring Star or ARCAMT Points
- Positions 35 Highest Touring Star or ARCAMT Points
- Positions 36 Highest Touring Star or ARCAMT Points
- Positions 37 Highest in ARCA/CRA Super Series Points
- Positions 38 Highest Finisher 2012 Snowball Derby
- Positions 39 Provisional Based on Post Mark Date of Entry (Earliest to Latest)
- Positions 40 Highest In Southern Super Series Points
Note: All Added Special Provisionals Revert to Highest in ARCA MidWest Tour points if not applicable
