NASCAR Bristol Night Race 2013 Weekend weather forecast

Could showers and storms delay NASCAR practices and qualifying for the Bristol Night race?

Cold front will slide across northeastern Tennessee later today and spark scattered showers and thunderstorms. While this won’t be an all day rain storms could form during the morning and into the afternoon. The cold front should start to clear through during the evening taking the rain and storms with it.

While storms could impact qualifying and practices today I think most of the on track activities should get in. By the time the NASCAR Nationwide race gets started most of the rain should have moved out.

Saturday’s weather for the Sprint Cup series night race will be much drier and nicer. Lots of sunshine during the day and by Saturday night we will see a few clouds but fair weather.
