NASCAR returns to Pennsylvania’s Pocono Raceway Sunday for the GoBowling.com 400. ESPN’s pre-race coverage begins at noon ET with NASCAR Countdown. The race broadcast begins at 1 p.m. ET, also on ESPN, with the green flag scheduled to drop at 1:20 ET. SiriusXM Channel 90 and the Motor Racing Network will provide radio coverage.

Jimmie Johnson, who already won once this season at Pocono, sits on the pole for Sunday’s race at the Tricky Triangle.


Points leader Jimmie Johnson won the pole position for Sunday’s race, setting a Pocono track record with a 180.654 mph qualifying lap. Johnson, who won the Party in the Poconos in June, is joined on the first row by Kyle Busch. Carl Edwards, who enters Sunday’s race third in the Sprint Cup standings, starts in the third position. Ryan Newman joins Edwards in the second row. Kurt Busch and Joey Logano start the day in the third row. Greg Biffle, Marcos Ambrose, Denny Hamlin and Aric Almirola round out the top ten.
Clint Bowyer, who starts the day second in the Sprint Cup points race, starts in 16th position. Defending race champion Jeff Gordon starts 22nd.
