Racing fans are continuously demanding access to more short track races and the Pro All Star Series has stepped up to provide it, announcing that they will air several events through online Pay-Per-View.
Pro All Star Series Super Late Model racing comes to Pay-Per-View
The Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model tour will make several of their races available through online Pay-Per-View this season -- great news for fans of the discipline.

Pricing plans were not announced but PASS spokesman Alan Dietz says the cost will “probably vary by race.” PASS TV -- a partnership with TM Racing Videos -- will air the first event of the season, on February 8, at New Smyrna Speedway.
The pay-per-view broadcasts will feature both PASS Pro Late Model and Super Late Model qualifying and feature race sessions.
Other early season events planned to be broadcast on PASS TV include PASS South events from historic regional venues Greenville-Pickens Speedway, Dillon Motor Speedway, and the Easter Bunny 150 from Hickory Motor Speedway. Additional events, as they are added, will be announced when available on the PASS website and social media accounts.
This is the wave of the future for independent short track Late Model sanctioning bodies. Should PASS and TM Racing be able to present a quality product, both on the track and on the broadcast, it will open the door for others tours to follow suit.
The format provides additional exposure for short track teams and racers, instantly giving PASS a leg up in the terms of the viability of participation.
The onus is on other tours like the Champion Racing Association, Southern Super Series and Midwest Tour to make their events available on Pay-Per-View as well, especially given the demand to see such events like the Winchester 400, World Crown 300, All-American 400 and Snowball Derby.
NASCAR national touring no longer provides the amount of short track races it has in the past while ARCA Racing Series short track events have also become increasingly more difficult to find on television. The NASCAR Pro Series East and West airs on the Fox Sports family of networks but on a tape-delayed basis.
If the price is right for fans, this could be a game-changer.
PASS really has a chance to establish themselves truly as “North America’s premier short track series” and make it more than just a moniker. The decision to go to Pay-Per-View was a bold one for tour president Tom Mayberry but the market is there and the alternative has been demanded.
The Pro All Star Series just delivered.
