How to follow Bank of America 500 online, TV schedule, radio and more

Round 2 of the Chase could gain some clarity on Saturday at Charlotte, and viewers will have a few options to follow along.

Charlotte Motor Speedway will take center stage on Saturday when the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup continues with the Bank of America 500. The race is the second of three in Round 2 of the Chase, and with Talladega looming this race could go a long way in determining which drivers move on to the next round. Kyle Busch will start on the pole and viewers will have multiple options to follow all of the action, including online coverage.

Only 12 drivers remain alive in the Chase and that number will soon drop to eight. Kasey Kahne, Brad Keselowski, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Jimmie Johnson are currently the drivers on the outside looking in. A particularly good or bad race can have a major impact on the standings. Johnson was sitting in fourth after Round 1, but after the points were reset for Round 2 a 40th-place finish in Kansas dropped him to last place in the standings and now has him in danger of elimination. He could flip back up toward the top with a win or a good run, but he’ll have ground to make up after qualifying in 21st position.

ABC will handle the broadcast for the race with coverage scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET. Allen Bestwick, Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree will announce from the booth with Dave Burns, Jamie Little, Dr. Jerry Punch and Vince Welch serving as pit reporters. In addition to the main television coverage, viewers will be able to follow online with a NASCAR RaceView subscription. RaceView coverage includes virtual video of the action with live team radio coverage, letting viewers listen in to the team communication during the race.

Performance Racing Network on Sirius-XM Radio will provide live radio coverage of the race. The network is available on Channel 90 on Sirius-XM, with the coverage also available via an online stream at goprn.com.
