NASCAR at Kansas 2014 race day weather forecast

Mother Nature continues to play nice during the NASCAR Sprint Cup playoffs. What kind of weather can teams and fans expect today at Kansas Speedway.

Through the NASCAR playoffs, Mother Nature has been particularly kind and that trend continues with splendid weather this afternoon at Kansas Speedway for the Sprint Cup Hollywood Casino 400.

It has been a weekend full of sunshine but also some very chilly temperatures. Highs the last couple of days have struggled to reach the 60s. Today it will be warmer as afternoon temperatures reach the upper 60s and low 70s.

Winds should be a little less than they have been too. Expecting a west-northwest wind between 5 and 15 mph. Overall it is going to be a nice day for NASCAR racing in the nation's heartland.
