NASCAR 2014 at Homestead-Miami weather forecast: Drier than we started the season

We started the season with rain, thunderstorms and tornado warnings, we end the 2014 NASCAR season the complete opposite with sunshine and warm temperatures.

What a NASCAR season this has been weather-wise. It felt like the first half of the season all it did was rain. At least at some point during a NASCAR weekend.

Since the chase started 10 weeks ago, we’ve had some really nice weather. There were a few exceptions like right before Charlotte, but other than that we have been making up for all the rain at the start of the season.

Now that the final weekend of NASCAR is here, it looks like our streak of nice weather during the chase will continue this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

While the rest of the country shivers in the cold, south Florida is enjoy warmth and sunshine. Mostly sunny to partly sunny weather is expected and high temperatures each afternoon will be near 80 degrees. Enjoy the final weekend of the 2014 NASCAR season, there’s no weather to cause any problems when we crown the 2014 Sprint Cup Champion.
