NASCAR Homestead 2014: Start time, TV schedule for Ford EcoBoost 400

The Chase for the Sprint Cup will wrap up with the Ford EcoBoost 400 on Sunday. Here’s how you can watch.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

Jeff Gordon won the pole for the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, but he is not among those still in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Gordon was in it up until the last race, but the field has been narrowed down to four with title aspirations. The four still in the running include Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano and Ryan Newman.

Three of the four qualified well, though none are in the first two rows. Harvick was the best, coming in fifth on the starting grid, while Hamlin just barely edged out Logano for eighth place. Logano took ninth and it was Newman who struggled the most, not making it past Round 2. As a result, Newman will line up 21st on the grid and will have some serious work to do to keep himself in the picture.

The race is scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast on ESPN, with pre-race coverage beginning two hours earlier at 1 p.m. The green flag is set for approximately 3:16 p.m., according to Jayski. Here are all the details you need to know to tune in for the race:
