2014 NASCAR At Daytona International Speedway: Looks dry for the Sprint Unlimited

The unofficial NASCAR Weatherman, Meteorologist Brian Neudorff, is back for the kick off of the 2014 NASCAR season with the Daytona International Speedway weather forecast for this weekend’s Sprint Unlimited

While most of the southeastern and east coast of the United States will be digging out and cleaning up from the latest winter storm that moved through the region this week, the weather in Florida will be very nice, sunny and even warm. What a great weekend to kick off the 2014 NASCAR season.

High pressure over the Gulf of Mexico will drift over the state of Florida during the day. Temperatures will be chilly to start but expected to warm into the mid to upper 60s by the afternoon with lots of sunshine. A weak cold front will drift across the state Saturday morning into the afternoon. This front looks to be mostly dry, so leaving any threat of rain out of the forecast for Saturday afternoon. By Saturday evening, skies will be mostly clear with no weather concerns for the NASCAR Sprint Unlimited.
