The Sprint Cup races toward the midway point as race No. 15 takes place in Brooklyn, Mich., at the Michigan International Speedway. The Quicken Loans 400 is Sunday, with pre-race coverage beginning at noon ET on TNT. The green flag will wave at approximately 1:16 p.m. ET.

Kevin Harvick is in pole position for the Quicken Loans 400 as Jeff Gordon looks to hold his Sprint Cup series points lead.


Jeff Gordon, the current Sprint Cup series points leader, won the race in 2001. Dale Earnhardt Jr., currently third in the Sprint Cup series, has two previous wins in the race and is coming off of his second victory of the season at the Pocono 400. Earnhardt Jr. last won the Quicken Loans 400 in 2012, averaging a speed of 139.144 mph. Greg Biffle won the race in 2013.
Kevin Harvick won his third pole of the season in record-setting fashion. Harvick clocked the fastest qualifying speed for a non-restrictor-plate track in Sprint Cup history, averaging a blazing 204.557 mph. He’s gone on to win four of his eight career poles.
