2014 NASCAR At New Hampshire weather forecast: Could we see rain for another race?

After a wet weekend at Daytona International Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway looks a lot drier but the rain chances still exist for the weekend. How big are the chances and how likely is the rain, you will find it your detailed forecast.

Last weekend at Daytona was a rough one for NASCAR, fans and this weatherman thanks to Mother Nature and rain. After the race was called due to rain there were a lot of opinions and conspiracies on whether or not NASCAR did the right thing. This weekend NASCAR goes to New Hampshire Motor Speedway and the weather forecast for the weekend is mostly dry.

Hi pressure will give mostly sunny skies across New Hampshire today, but a warm front arriving Sunday will bring a return of clouds and muggy conditions. The clouds and humidity will also mean a slight chance of a scattered shower or storm in the afternoon. While there is a small chance of a shower or storm in the afternoon on Sunday, I feel confident that we can get not only an official race but a complete race with little to know delay. I give the odds of a complete race on Sunday to be around 85%.

The only concern I have on Sunday has been the timing of the next system, and I also have a general weather rule when it comes to warm fronts. Never trust a warm front.
