NASCAR New Hampshire 2014: Start time, TV schedule for Camping World RV Sales 301

Kyle Busch is on the pole for this Sunday’s Camping World RV Sales 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Yet another qualifying record has been set this season, with Kyle Busch setting the mark at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in advance of this Sunday’s Camping World RV Sales 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup race.

Busch was surprised that he was the one to break the qualifying record -- the 13th to fall this season -- telling AP, “I thought it was a little bit tight but I guess I was driving through it enough that it was still carrying good speed. Lap felt good. It didn’t feel that good, but it felt good.”

The man who finished behind him, Jimmie Johnson, was significantly less surprised that a car was that good, if not necessarily Busch’s car. The six-time champion told reporters after qualifying,“We knew the track record was going to fall, especially at one of the places where testing started, I was very optimistic coming into qualifying today. I thought I had enough to get it there. Then I saw Kyle’s lap. He definitely put one down.”

Filling out the field immediately behind them will be Denny Hamlin, Tony Stewart, Jamie McMurray and Joey Logano. Logano, who qualified for the race with his back-up car following a practice accident, also finds himself starting next to teammate Brad Keselowski once again. The pair has qualified next to one another four times already this season, with the first four coming in the front row.

You can watch it on TNT beginning with pre-race coverage at 12:00 p.m. ET. Live race coverage will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Adam Alexander, Wally Dallenbach Jr., Kyle Petty and Larry McReynolds in the booth. The green flag is tentatively scheduled for 1:15 p.m. In addition to the television coverage, viewers with a subscription to RaceView will be able to follow the race online. Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM Satellite NASCAR Channel 90 will provide radio coverage.
