A cold front moved through lower Michigan overnight and brought with it scattered rain showers. Most of that activity will push south of Michigan International Speedway this morning and the track should remain mostly dry for today. Skies will be mostly to partly cloudy with a slight chance of an isolated rain shower or storm.
NASCAR at Michigan 2014 race day weather forecast: Despite rain, mostly dry
Despite the chance of rain for Michigan International Speedway and today’s Sprint Cup race, it looks like the weather forecast will be mostly dry.

I am anticipating a rain-free race, but there’s no completely ruling out a chance of an isolated shower or storm. I give the odds of racing and getting a complete race is around 80%.
