Threat of scattered showers and thunderstorms remains in the forecast for tonight’s Sprint Cup series race at Bristol Motor Speedway. While the chance of rain is there I think we can get an official race (past halfway) if not a full complete race.
NASCAR Bristol Night Race 2014 race day weather forecast
Bristol Motor Speedway could experience some showers and storms this afternoon and evening, but will it keep NASCAR from running the “Night Race” at Bristol?

Rain could cause a delay or two tonight but given the scattered to isolated nature of the rain showers this afternoon and evening, I do not expect a washout. My odds of racing tonight and getting the race in is between 60 and 70 percent. The radar will need to be watched because a delay from rain and storms is possible.
