NASCAR reveals 2015 Nationwide, Truck Series schedules

The 2015 Nationwide and Truck Series schedules are out.

Jeff Zelevansky

The Nationwide Series will have a yet to be determined new name in 2015, but NASCAR’s No. 2 division announced a familiar looking schedule for next year.

With no additions and subtractions, all 33 events from this season will return next season, though in a much different order. The reshuffling coincides with changes made to the Sprint Cup schedule, also announced Tuesday.

Six standalone races mark the Nationwide schedule, including both at Iowa Speedway (May 17, Aug. 1), as well as at Chicagoland Speedway, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Road America and Kentucky Speedway.

In conjunction with the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series, NASCAR also released next year’s Camping World Truck Series schedule. The slate of races includes a return of all 22 events and the addition of a March event at Atlanta Motor Speedway, which will host a Nationwide-Truck Series doubleheader.

Seventeen Truck Series races will serve as companion events to Sprint Cup events.
