New Hampshire Motor Speedway remains between a rock and a hard place when it comes to the weather forecast for Sunday’s Sylvania 300. We have a cold front working into the region during the day and evening, with a storm system passing by off the Atlantic coast, putting New Hampshire Motor Speedway right in between.
2014 NASCAR At New Hampshire race day weather forecast: Rain still threatens
New Hampshire Motor Speedway remains between a rock and a hard place when it comes to the weather forecast for today’s Sylvania 300.

Overall, I think the forecast is mostly dry but the threat of a scattered to isolated shower and even a thunderstorm are possible this afternoon. I do not see anything that should cancel the race and force it to Monday but a stray shower or two could definitely cause delays, that’s if they form.
I am lowering my odds of a complete race to around 80 percent. I think we get this in with minimum delays but I am not ruling out the possibility of a delay.
