Weekend weather forecast for NASCAR at Texas Motor Speedway - Could there be rain?

The weekend weather forecast for Texas Motor Speedway has gotten a little more complicated. The threat of showers has worked into the forecast.

The weekend weather forecast for Texas Motor Speedway has gotten a little more complicated and not as dry-looking as it was earlier in the week. As a few weak systems push through Texas, the threat of rain has slightly increased for both Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday looks mostly dry for all on track activities, including the Xfinity race. The odds of racing Saturday look to be near 80 to 90 percent. There’s only a slight chance of a passing shower or two.

Sunday also looks mostly dry with the chance of showers and possible storms increasing into the late afternoon and evening. Right now, I think the best chance is in the afternoon. I have the odds of a full race around 80 percent and to half way around 95 percent.
