Two out of three ain’t bad. That’s how we can describe dealing with the weather at Richmond International Raceway. After Mother Nature put the kibosh on afternoon track activities on Friday, it tried to threaten on Saturday with areas of scattered showers and storms and now that Sunday has arrived, she looks like she will behave herself.
2016 NASCAR at Richmond race day weather forecast: Lots of sunshine
NASCAR managed to avoid the rain on Saturday to complete the Xfinity race and weather will be even better for the Sprint Cup Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway.

Sunday will be the nicest and driest day of the whole weekend, just in time for the Sprint Cup Toyota Owners 400. Lots of sunshine, pleasant temperatures and light, variable winds.
