Rain postponed the Sprint Showdown and Truck series race Friday night, with the Sprint Showdown scheduled for 11 a.m. ET and the Truck Series race around 12:30 p.m. after the showdown. The good news is Saturday is looking a lot drier than Friday.
2016 NASCAR All-Star race day weather forecast: Drier than it has been
Rain postponed the Sprint Showdown and Truck Series race Friday night. Will it be better for the Sprint All-Star Race Saturday night?

The forecast for Saturday is not entirely dry, isolated showers and storms are possible especially towards the late afternoon and evening. Some of the short-range models are indicating a wave of showers and storms between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. but most models show some isolated activity around Charlotte Motor Speedway this afternoon and evening. It definitely doesn’t look like a washout but a weather delay can’t be ruled out. Odds of racing the Spring All-Star race Saturday night is 70 to 80 percent.
