Weather for Saturday at Kansas Speedway is mostly dry, but as we head into the evening hours the threat of showers increases slightly. Unlike Talladega last weekend where showers and storms were 30 to 50 miles from the track all afternoon threatening the race, Saturday should be mostly dry with just a slight chance of an isolated shower or two.
NASCAR at Kansas Speedway 2016 race day weather: Mostly dry but ...

The reason we have a chance of an isolated shower or storm is thanks to a stalled front that is expected to be north of Kansas Speedway. Stalled fronts can be tricky because if they stall a little closer than expected the odds of showers could increase. Right now the odds of racing is easily 90 percent with the odds of any delays around 10 percent or less.
Temperatures will be very warm reaching the middle 80s during the afternoon and race temperatures at the start of the race will also be in the 80s. By the end of the race, temperatures will drop down into the middle to low 70s. Winds will be out of the south-southwest between 5 to 10 mph.
