Rain showers were an issue for Michigan International Speedway Saturday afternoon but the skies cleared and they were able to race the Camping World Truck series race. The question remains, will it be dry or wet for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Pure Michigan 400 Sunday afternoon?
NASCAR at Michigan race day weather forecast 2016: Not as wet as last week
Things look to be drier for the Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race Sunday at Michigan International Speedway.

A cold front will work across southern Michigan Sunday morning into the early afternoon. Because of this front there is just a slight chance of an isolated storm or two forming. This could keep the threat off a pop up storm in the forecast for the start of the race until about 3 p.m. Even with this very small chance the odds of racing today’s Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway are 90 to 95 percent. Outside of a possible small delay, I don’t anticipate much issue from the weather for NASCAR on Sunday.
