Las Vegas NASCAR weather: More nice weather for NASCAR

Three for three - Mother Nature continues to provide pleasant weather for the third weekend in a row.

The NASCAR WXMAN - Meteorologist Brian Neudorff

NASCAR’s timing to head west to Las Vegas Motor Speedway couldn’t have come at a better time. The heart of NASCAR country, the southeastern United States, is bracing for not only some cold temperatures, but parts, including Charlotte, North Carolina, could actually see snow over the weekend.

With the cold and snow more than 2,000 miles away, the only weather NASCAR fans and teams need to worry about is how high of an SPF they need in their sunscreen. Temperatures will be near 80 degrees both Saturday and Sunday, unlike 2016 when the race in Las Vegas was delayed due to wind. It will be mostly quiet with just a slight northeasterly breeze.
