Jimmie Johnson will look for a second straight victory Monday afternoon in the rain-delayed 2017 Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Johnson won two weeks ago at Texas Motor Speedway and after the off week will look to become the first back-to-back winner this season. He won the Food City 500 back in 2010.

“Lots of drivers get one win and people say, ‘Well, they finally figured it out.’ That could happen with multiple teams this weekend,” said Fox analyst Darrell Waltrip earlier this week. “If it were anybody but seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson, I’d say wait and see. But a lot of times with the No. 48 team, they win and their momentum carries over.”

The eighth Monster Energy Cup Series race of the season was originally slated for Sunday afternoon, but persistent rain forced NASCAR to postpone the Food City 500 to Monday. The rescheduled race will go green at 1 p.m. ET and televised live on Fox, with the Performance Radio Network handling radio coverage.

Rain also washed away qualifying on Friday, which means drivers line up by owners points and race attempts.

Kyle Larson starts on the pole Sunday, looking to continue a remarkable year. He won in Fontana, and finished second in Texas, one of four second-place finishes this season. Johnson starts in 11th position on Sunday.
