Richmond NASCAR weather forecast: Any rain at all this weekend?

After the soaking that took place in Bristol last weekend, will NASCAR be able to avoid the wrath of Mother Nature in Richmond, VA?

The weather forecast for NASCAR at Richmond International Raceway this weekend looks mostly dry, but it will also be warm. Some might even call it hot, as temperatures will reach near 90 degrees.

Here’s what you can expect the weather to do at Richmond International Raceway this weekend.
Here’s what you can expect the weather to do at Richmond International Raceway this weekend.

So why am I calling it “mostly dry” at Richmond? While it is warm and also on the humid side, there is a chance, both Saturday and Sunday, of a stray shower or isolated storm. The odds of this happening are extremely low, but it’s a chance nonetheless. It only takes one of these cells to cause a delay or two during the race weekend.

Odds of racing both the ToyotaCare 250 & Toyota Owners 400 is 99.9%.
