The only weather concern for the Toyota Owners 400 Monster Energy Cup race at Richmond International Raceway Sunday is the temperatures, which will be well above the season averages by around 15 degrees. Temperatures could top out to near 90 degrees for the afternoon. Along with it being hot, it will be a bit humid. It will be important for fans at the race Sunday to stay cool and hydrated.
Richmond NASCAR race day weather forecast: Hot day at the race track
It won’t be rain but unusually warm temperatures for the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway

Outside of the heat, there will be a mix of sunshine and clouds. I’ve decided to take the threat of a lone shower out of the forecast. I just think it will be dry all day, so the odds of racing Sunday is 100%.
