Kansas NASCAR weather forecast: Rain and storms for Thursday afternoon

The race weekend starts off with a threat of showers and storms at Kansas Speedway but the rest of the weekend looks nice.

Wettest day of the Kansas Speedway NASCAR weekend is Thursday and even the threat of showers and storms is not all that high. The Camping World Truck series practice is Friday afternoon and I’d say the odds of getting both practices in are around 50 to 60 percent. Rain looks to be broken and scattered in nature but it only takes one or two showers and storms to washout a practice session.

The rest of the race weekend, Friday and Saturday at Kansas Speedway is nice, pleasant and dry. Lots of sunshine during the day, clear skies in the evening and daytime temperatures in the low to middle 70s.

Odds of racing both the Toyota Tundra 250 & Go Bowling 400 is 100 percent.
